Hello.

New member here, just a quick question:

When servicing a tape deck I recently accuired, a spring fell out of the side after I took the side panel off. I cannot seem to get to know where it is to go.

Anyone here may know?

I suspect this is the spring that is located between the two sets of control keys i.e. between the Pause & Eject keys and the Power, RWD, Stop, FWD, Play & Record keys.

The keys locate in the channel in the chassis that the keys slot into.
