IET History of Engineering Conference
This conference is open to all, not just iET members. I will be attending.
The Weekend History Conference has been held for 35 years, and attendance is open to all with an interest in the history of engineering and technology. It consists of 12-15 short papers on a variety of electrical history themes presented by TPN members, with printed Proceedings issued after the event. It provides an opportunity to socialise with other History enthusiasts and professionals, and to visit relevant local attractions: this year a coach trip will run from Falmer to Amberley Working Museum on Saturday afternoon. Further details are on the History TPN web-page at www.iee.org/oncomms/pn/history/ together with the booking form at www.iee.org/oncomms/pn/history/History_Sussex_Meeting_Bookingform.pdf . Although the Conference is primarily residential, members living locally may attend the whole event at the non-residential rate of £105 (plus optional Saturday dinner), or may attend one or two days only, at a reduced rate. For further details contact John Narborough as above. |

Re: IET History of Engineering Conference
Despite what it says on the forms, it's not too late to book. Just need to do it in the next few days.
