Default AJS Radios

Being a big fan of AJS Motorcycles and owning one of the modern day Scooters , I was surprised to learn that they also made radios from about 1923 to 1928 as one of the founders Harry Stevens was a keen radio ham.

Does anyone have an AJS Radio in their collection?
I've certainly never seen one in the wild.

Not seen it before but looks like a hive of information and illustrations.

Seems that the Radios were of a good quality too and still occasionally appear for sale.

I have the AJS F4 from 1924 plus matching horn speaker and with original bright emitters.

Though I have never ran it with those ,instead I use new ex military HL2,s.

Must have had it 50 years plus. Also have a book on AJS.

That sounds very interesting.
Do you have any pictures of it?

There are several versions of F4 in Radiomuseum. Here's one:

I have a pair of AJS high impedance headphones.
They are very high quality and work very well with my crystal set (not AJS).
