What a great discovery! Hours of British dance bands to enjoy with some knowledgeable presentation.
Although a mere thirty-something myself I love the sound of the British bands of the 30s and 40s. I used to enjoy listening to the likes of Hubert Gregg and Alan Dell on Radio 2 in the early 1990s and then latterly to Malcolm Laycock on Sunday nights. This website at least gives us a chance to hear more of our kind of music. I've already 'burned' a few shows to cassette! Steve J |
