Default Television Magazine

In post nine of "Some Sad News", concerning the death John Redihough, new forum member Trevor Matthews mentions a "Television" related website. The website is :-

www.television-magazine.co.uk

I see Donald Bullock is one of the contributors. For those Vintage Radio Forum members with an interest in television should I think, take a look.

Looks to be a good well-run forum. I've joined it and just spent rather more time than I intended, reading some of Donalds old articles.

Hi,
Iam a member of Trevors Forum/Website, but seldom post on their website, as I no longer repair TV's for a living, and as such have very little to offer regards fault reports etc, as it is all flat panel stuff (I still do the odd trade repair however) and find his site incredibly useful from time to time.

Besides I know personally a few of the excellent engineers who post regularly on their forum, and they all have far greater resources WRT service info./ Manufactures technical data, than I do, as sadly I stopped keeping up to date/subscriptions to Euras etc.

The Donald Bullock column is well worth a read, and brings back many happy memories (as did the LLJ ones on here).

I recieved an e-mail off Trevor re: sad news, after I had posted it on this forum, I had recieved an e-mail and Link WRT to the said post from another engineer who knew John (from the TV mag/fault reports etc.) the day before, but spent a day mulling over on how to post such a delicate and sensitive matter to a wider audience, and to people who knew him far more closely than I, (Iam never very good at this type of thing)

Cheers all,
Baz
