Hi, first post! Thought I'd give you the info on my Hunter seeing as I've gleaned plenty of info from threads like these!

Designation - RP38A Hunter VHF
Serial Number – 50463
Handle Type – Single Piece
Grille type – extruded aluminium bars
Scale print – All white
DC Input socket – yes
Speaker – Elac (gold)
Tone control knobs - silver

I've included some pictures - I bought it fully working but it was a bit grubby. I did read a thread where someone had completely returned one but couldn't find it again! It'll do for now, though!

I've just fired it up for the first time. I can see why they're so popular. The sound is superb. Although the dial seems a little out!!

If the dial is out for FM it could have been adjusted to get stations above 101MHz.

It looks excellent, must get my Hunter out and give it a few hours use.
