Default Keith Geddes?

Is anyone in contact with Keith Geddes? I am hoping for information about a picture in "Setmakers". Thanks? David

He doesn't seem to have much of a web presence except for citations as an author.

He was cited in 1953 working for the BBC in an IEEE paper and retired from the Science Museum in 1986. Assuming he was 65 on retirement he would be in his 90s by now.

I've no idea whether it's sad or not..... only that if he's still around, he's getting on a bit.

I looked but couldn't find any obituary, though whether he's well enough known outside historic engineering circles for one I've no idea.

Keith, unfortunately is no longer with us, and has not been for some considerable time.

Why not ask your question about the picture here?

Alternatively, you can contact the BVWS Archivist, Lorne Clark (see BVWS website for details) as the BVWS now holds the "Setmakers" archive.

Neither is Gordon Bussey who used to work for Philips and was also involved in writing this book.

Somebody on here should be able to answer your question.

Many thanks for all the advice so far - I shall try Lorne for the archive first.

I got my copy of 'The Setmakers' for the first Christmas after we moved in to our house (1991 !), still a book I re-read every now and again. Full of memories I can never have.
