Default Hallicrafters model SR-46 microphone with plug.

Hello readers
I have the 2M rig like above missing its microphone and plug to fit the front panel.
Or do you know what UK plug will fit?
Like to get this working
Thank you

Does anyone know what the plug is to attach a microphone to these sets?
The socket of the microphone is 1/2" in dia with a thread on its outside
It has just two contacts inside
Any idea what plug it might be?

If the two holes are slightly off-centre it could be an Amphenol 80MC2M Andy?

Sparky67 is absolutely correct. That Amphenol connector was used a lot on 1960s rigs. In fact, in 1967 I owned both an SR-42 and an SR-46 and still have some of those connectors. If shipping costs were not so obscene I would be happy to share one with you.

Also used on some Heathkits. I have one on a HW101.
