Help on RA153
Hi All,
this is my first post in this great forum! I am servicing a RACAL RA153 and I would need some help. Has anyone any schema for this receiver? Does anyone know the value of XL1 quartz? Has anyone any eperience on this to share with me? Any helps will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Pietro Poles |

Re: Help on RA153
Welcome Pietro.
This seems to be a very uncommon Racal receiver - two RA117s combined with extra transistor circuitry. http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/racal_t...ceiver_ra.html Someone here may be able to help http://www.premium-rx.org as I believe a member has one - but that doesn't mean he has the manual, of course. Or you could try Thales - who took over Racal and see if they have anything on it. Or just maybe, someone here may have some information on the set. I'd be interested to know more about it. Any chance of a picture? Pete. |

Re: Help on RA153
Thank you.
There are some very impressive collections of Racal gear on the WWW such as http://www.pdp-11.nl/racal/index.html None if them seem to contain anything like your set, but it might be worth contacting the owners of the sites. Best of luck with it. Pete. |
