Default Hedy Lammar "Frequency Hopping"

This Movie Star has been mentioned here before, re her scientific achievements especially in wartime. I think she may have been involved with Bing Crosby in his support for the R+D of early tape recorders but I could be making that up BBC4 are showing her 2017 Bio-Pic at 11pm tonight "Hollywood's Brightest Bombshell". It's on with How To Go Viral and The Joy of Data at 9 and 10pm. All part of a Beeb Internet based series I think. [Last night's slot had some very revealing Silicon Valley programs]

Diving in a little deeper, there are bits of the Documentary "Calling Hedy Lammar" on You Tube but not the full version. [She ended up mainly communicating by phone but not in person]. The section titled "Edited Highlights" [8-17 secs] has a Wireless expert looking at documents!

Default Lammar Film BBC4

This Bio Pic Documentary, I flagged up yesterday, has turned out to be even more interesting and to contain more technical content than I expected! Can this posting to recommend an I Player visit be merged/included Mods? Maybe the thread could be re-opened for any feedback as well? I think the film will be of interest to quite a few people. The technical content keeps recurring right through to the end.
