Default Eagle TH series handset intercoms

Does anybody have any technical or practical experience of these units ? I bought a couple of unused sets about a year ago. They're in excellent condition and appear to be well-made and sturdy (Japanese-manufacture). I tested one with a 12v adaptor and it worked, albeit with some background hum. I'm expecting a pair of used units in the post later this week. Largely the same except designed for multiple stations, hence a number keypad.

Thankyou.

The pair of multi-station units I mentioned above arrived this afternoon.

Maybe these units didn't really catch on in the UK, unlike the ubiquitous two-tone grey devices that are all over eBay, CPC, Amazon and have been around since God was a boy.
