Default Telefunken Resistor

Can anybody tell me what type of resistor this is? On the snippet supplied its resistor R518 0.47r, somebody has replaced it with a 8.3r.

Its from a Telefunken Bajazzo Compact 3000.

It looks to be a 0.5 watt, the key attached here is actually from a Grundig manual but I am fairly sure both makers followed the same German DIN standard at that time.

Hello,

indeed this is a very standard 1/2 W carbon film resistor of .47 Ohms, so nothing special. I assume changing the value as whatever cure has not been the brightest idea.

Regards, Joe

Thanks for the replies, I wondered if the resistor symbol with the diagonal line through it meant something, thanks for clarifying that meant half watt.
