Default Card Connector I.d.

Does anyone recognise this card connector? Surface mount, 7-way.
It's branded ITT and marked 0638 in tiny writing.

The card is single sided and the contacts are 2.5mm pitch.

Cheers, Kevin

Default Re: Card Connector I.d.

Looks like an SD card connector to me, though an 'economy' version which doesn't have pins 8 and 9 (normally not connected anyway). I can't identify the particular type. It's an unusually shallow one. I think the style is referred to as a 'short' SD socket. It looks similar in profile to the ones used on the original Raspberry Pi models A and B, though they didn't have the metal cover.
