Interesting German Hi-Fi & A/V Brochure archive
Found this interesting website which has German language brochures for all different makes of mostly Hi-Fi equipment, but there's some old radio and TV/VCR stuff in there as well. I don't know if the link has been posted before, but I am sure it will be new to a lot of us.
PS: Found the ITT range quite fascinating, as we had an ITT Hi-Fi system for many years. We had the ITT 8011 direct drive turntable, 8022 tape deck, and the 8032 receiver. Couldn't find the speakers on there, but they looked a bit like the A1-130 but had separate Bass/ Treble crossover controls at the top, under a removable strip that was held on with Velcro. I think the drivers were Toshiba Aurex. Last edited by John123; 30th Jan 2008 at 2:07 pm. |

Thanks for that John,
I had a look on there and found a downloadable manual for the Akai 630D reel to reel deck. I wanted that,Very handy. And it was in English. I still need a head cover for that recorder though.. Also some info on Brenell recorders in English. Downloadable. Well worth a look. Regards Peter W.........Reelguy. PS. How come I haven't come across that site before ?. |

Thanks, really quite nostalgic. There is a brochure there for Nordmende 1970, the last page shows that 26" colour TV with the three 9" B/W screens beneath :

Thanks for a great link, John. But seems to be plagued with unsavoury advertising pop-ups for me, in spite of my OS being fully up-to-date etc. N. |

Working on these sets must've been an experience! I take it they were hybrid? Were the B&W displays solid state? This would make a very interesting thread indeed! Brian |
