Default Air Ministry Receiver Type 76

Hi,
Can anyone tell me anything about this receiver type, please? I can find no reference to it anywhere so far!

Many thanks,
Andy

I can't find anything about it - but a photo might be a clue.

You can always try asking the RAF museum archive http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/london/research/index.cfm
