Good advice from Edward, I’m not sure what the “screw threads” in the base are used for, a picture might help to see what type you have fitted.

Thank you, I think I’ll cut a piece of board to fix the legs too and it can stand on that then.

The convention when fitting Dansette type legs is that when viewed from the top, the maximum splay of the feet of the legs should coincide with the extreme corners of the top of the unit and/or its lid. As Dealers we were often asked to fix these on for our Customers and this was the guidance from Dansette.

My friend bought one of these players from the CO OP about 1972/2 .At £18 it was the cheapest thing they had but he was delighted with it and so was i it meant that he didn't have to borrow mine anymore.years later I saw a Tellux stereo record player with the speakers making up the lid when not in use. Inside there were two of these amplifiers.
