Anachem Origo psu trip problem
I have been unable to find any user manual and circuit diagram for this PSU.
It switches on OK but is stuck in trip mode. There is a damaged resistor which can be seen in the attached photos (no value markings on it)which may well be causing the problem. Is there any way of working out the value of the resistor or will I just have to dump the PSU in a skip. |

Re: Anachem Origo psu trip problem
Is this device for Gel Electrophoresis, by any chance? Why not contact Anachem?

Have tried contacting Anachem but have had no response. Do not know what Gel Electrophoresis is.

Re: Anachem Origo psu trip problem
Is that a blown resistor? It looks more like a porcelain fuse to me. What is the identifier on the circuit. It looks to me as if something nearby or just downstream is short circuited. Do a few resistance measurements. There are usually clues on the board if you read everything that is silk screened.

It is marked as R7 on the circuit board.
