Hello and welcome to the forums.

When you say you need help, do you want someone to do the work for you or are you seeking advice?

This may be of interest.

It will almost certainly be the lamp itself that is faulty, replacing it is no more difficult than a table lamp

but you may well find difficulty sourcing a replacement at reasonable cost.

Fully functioning Super 8 projectors are regularly offered on Ebay for about £30, if yours doesn't have any particular sentimental value, you might want to consider that option.

A Bolex is likely to have a much better lens than cheaper makes.

When the lamp on my late uncle's Eumig projector didnt't light, the problem turned out to be corrosion at the lamp socket contacts. His lamp was a 12V dichroic reflector type that actually was easy to buy at a reasonable price 3 years ago. The socket was a ceramic type with pins at 1/4" (6.35mm) spacing and I fitted a replacement I had in stock, previously got from late lamented Maplin for a different project.

It is often possible to see whether the lamp filament is intact with a good degree of certainty. Is it the halogen or the incandescent version (with the peculiar silvered moulded lamp that looks like a spaceman?)
