Re: Old RS stock numbers
REC 43 is the part number, W7301 is the date code (made in first week of 1973). According to my Radiospares (RS) components catalogue from 1970/71 the REC 43 is a bridge rectifier rated (with capacitive load @50 deg C) at 70 V r.m.s. 2.4 A d.c. (Vrrm = 100 V).

Re: Old RS stock numbers
During a loft clear-out last month I rediscovered my collection of old RS catalogues, covering the period December 1974 to March 1976. Here's the page covering the regulator 305-412 from the December 1974-March 1975 issue.

Re: Old RS stock numbers
Here's scans of the indexes for the Aug-Nov 1975 and Dec 1975-March 1976 RS catalogues. No indexes were provided for the earlier catalogues. I will be pleased to scan info for any parts that you can't find info on elsewhere. N.B I do not have copies of the "Separate Brochure" of the asterisked parts in the 90x-xxx series.
I have also scanned the catalogue page from the Dec 75 - March 76 catalogue, as it contains additional information about output regulation adjustment. Last edited by emeritus; 11th Aug 2015 at 1:00 pm. |

Re: Old RS stock numbers
Thanks Dr Wobble and others. The bench supply is a 'DIY' one which has proved to be very good. It has no rating plate, however output is fused at 1.5A and has a 1A trip. REC 43 is 1.5" square x 1/2" deep.
