Default Sharp vz3500E hi fi

Hi everyone, i need some guidance please, i have acquired a Sharp vz3500E vertical play record player from 1980, the condition is filthy, it has nicotine and dust all over the unit and the decals, what is best product to get the unit back to its former glory without ruining the decals.

Mild detergent and, in places where needed, White Spirits. Do not over-dampen the unit, these are very difficult to repair.
