Can any one tell me I have the recorder and no sound comes from internal speaker,s but good sound through headphones.where do I start looking please

The speaker switch on the back should be set to "normal" to hear them Dorian!.
If the headphones are working it's probably on "mute"! There is provision to connect external spkrs as well. Again on the back! The Full Manual and Operating Instructions are available free at Radio Museum. Dave W |

Akai 1710W valve
Can any please tell me I have the above model and the valves are 6AR5 is Millard EL90 an equivalent valve or can any one give me some equivalent easy to get valve in UK please
