I could be thinking of the wrong model but some of the Roberts range have a keyhole slot in the chromed handle ends. To remove the handle strap from the radio body, position the strap horizontally across the top, as you would if carrying the set. Then take one of the end parts and push it downwards, which should release it from the body fixing screw, then same at other end. The 2 chassis screws should then be revealed. It's a lot easier to do than explain. Hope that makes sense.

They don't, imagine a fancy headed nail with retaining clip on the inside of the set. Remove chassis to gain access to "nail" IIRC there is a washer soldered on the end that has to be unsoldered.
