Default Ferguson studio 7 speakers

Hi, I was given this unit by a friend and after one or two minor repairs it works well. The sound is Ok but I'm sure it could be improved if I upgrade the speakers. What impedance should I use?

Thanks, Steve

The Studio 7 in the Radio Museum https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/fergus...io_7_3471.html
has a clear label stating 15 Ohms.

Is this the same as yours?

Cheers

Ha, yes! It does look very similar to mine. 15 ohms is it then! Thanks Mike.

Steve.
