Default Rotary phone won't ring.

I have one of the old style rotary phones.

It is in fine working order. It can accept calls and make calls however it does not ring when someone calls.

I suspect this is to do with the change from analogue to digital phone lines.

Is there any way I can fix this so it will ring when people phone me?

Many thanks for all answers.

It's a 1970s Mickey Mouse telephone.

I think it was made by ATC.

Most likely your phone socket is only wired 2-wire, and if the Mickey Mouse is rewired correctly it'll need ringing on pin 3.

A quick fix is usually to use an ADSL microfilter on that extension.
