Default Marconi/IFR/Aeroflex 2309 & 2310

Does anyone know anything about these instruments please?

I am trying to understand the self test routine which measures IF flatness.

The block diagram shows the RF Input range to be 100MHz to 2.4GHz and there is an LO shown covering the same range. There is a single mixer to an IF of 10.7MHz

At the input selector (High/Low Power Input) there is a CAL block shown. Presumably this is a fixed frequency oscillator and IF flatness is measured using that by tuning across it with the LO.

Does anyone have any idea what is the frequency of the CAL signal? I would guess at 1GHz but it is only that - a complete guess.

Read the manual... it is 400MHz and -10dBm +/- 0.175dB
