Default Attaching email to message

Just a quick question.
I was corresponding via private message with another forum member and I attached an eemail.
When I looked at my sent messages it just showed a row of xxxxxxx.
Does this mean it was not sent, did I break forum rules. Thanks.
If I did break the rules I apologise.
John

When you say you attached an email do you mean that you included your email address in a Private Message? If so there's no reason why this shouldn't work.

Again when you say you looked at your sent messages and saw "xxxxxx", was this in the PM's title field or in the message itself?

You could try sending the PM to yourself and see what, if anything, you receive.

Unless RadioWorkshop's web site is on the forum's banned list - if that operates in PMs as well as forum posts.

Thank you for letting me know, and once again sorry for any rule breaking.
Can I ask why some sites are banned ? Thank you.

Sometimes it’s because they offer service data for free that’s available from my website (top right corner) which helps fund the forum hosting. Where possible we will only censor the URL to the relevant website section.

Sometimes it’s because they are remote image hosting sites. With these if the images are later removed the thread can become useless.

Occasionally they are websites with malicious content such as malware etc.

All censored websites are agreed by the moderation team.

You have done nothing wrong and broken no rules.

As Paul has said for historic reasons some sites are banned.

As Paul has explained the reasons, this is an opportune time to close this thread.

Cheers
