Cossorscope 1076 80MHz model?
Hi!
In the back of my "Radio And Electronic Laboratory Handbook", first 1961 edition with a yellow dust jacket, in the advertisements at the back, there's an advertisement for an 80MHz "Cossorscope Model 1076"– https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=...201076&f=false Pages 561 and 562 of this:– https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.16346 Does anybody know anything about this and has any bookwork ever surfaced about this model? It looks to be clone of a Tek 547a or similar, it's advertised as having the same "beam direction indicator" neons as the Tek models have! Chris Williams

Re: Cossorscope 1076 80MHz model?
Curious. Looks like a re-imagining of the Tek 536 X-Y scope but with higher bandwidth. I like especially the "light weight, only 104lb" claim!

Hi Chris
Perhaps you could find out about my Cossor 1059 Pictures in #6 of threat below https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...ighlight=Scope. It predates the 1076 but also has a number of features including weight! Cheers Mike T

Re: Cossorscope 1076 80MHz model?
I had a look in my Cossor test equipment folder couldn't find the 1076 scope other than advertising material but did find the handbook for the 1083 Plug in.
I may still more, I have hundreds of unsorted documents the 1083 is described as a Calibrated delay unit for the 1076 If the document follows other Cossor document numbering its dated 1961 Cheers Mike T
