Question B&O Beocord 2000 de luxe reel to reel tape deck

Hi everyone, does anyone have any stripdown instructions for a Bang and Olufsen Beocord 2000T reel to reel tape deck. Thank you.

Hi Dave, sorry for the late reply mate, this is the B&O 2000 is the K version approx 1965.

Hi Dave, yes i got your original post but i can't read German, there doesn't appear to be any English service data available whether it be schematics or how to strip the unit down.

I agree and the German manual is less than helpful for strip down information.

Suggest you try searching and asking the question at (you may have to register)

Lifelong membership (Bronze) to the above is free, just requires registration. Then you can search/post questions on the Forum etc but with the free membership one cannot access their User/service manuals.

Was going to ask question what is the difference between the K and the T versions, but think I have found out that the T version includes external speakers.

Dave, some of the K models came with an extra head in order to take 4 track tapes i understand.

Yes, the 2/4-track versions have a small pushbutton switch at the back of the head cover to switch between the 2 and 4 track playback heads.

A better quality scan of the schematics is all I have.
I scanned it a long time ago and spliced the scans into a single file.
There are a couple of splicing glitches but I haven't found anything too serious.
