Default Traco DC converters for filament supplies

Came across these DC-DC converters as a lot on an auction that would look to be a good source of regulated, filtered 5VDC for DHTs, like 300B. They are rated for 2A out, so should be meaty enough. Could they be suitable?

Worth a try, but be aware a valve takes a very high initial current, which may put the converter into overcurrent mode and it will not then start.
Generally used for aux and isolated rails in various pieces of kit

Bear in mind also that they are essentially SMPSUs at 400kHz. Have used various versions of them in a few devices I was employed to assemble. Probably have some of my own somewhere.
