Default New case for the KB fb 10

I found a not so damaged case to replace the smashed one which arrived in the post ,it needed a repair on the r/h side bottom , I had some green left over from another job ,so why not paint it green the finish is just the paint no lacquer ,there is some damage to the dial ie lettering missing ,but it looks ok . new 6x4 fitted replaced the usual capacitors and a few resistors , had to replace all four caps in the if cans I had some 82 pf they should be 88pf so near enough , a complete re alignment gave good results, Mick.

Well done Mick, that's a very professional looking paint job. If you can achieve a finish like that and have sufficient patience, why not have a go at gluing all those broken pieces back together again. Don't know if you watch "The Repair Shop" but over the years Kirstan the ceramics lady has provided good training in how to approach the task.

Thanks Len ,now it's funny you should say that ,I have come in from the workshop having just tried gluing the bits together and found quite a bit missing ,I guess they are in the delivery drivers van . It is now in the dustbin time for a Mick.
