Default Conclusion.

Back in post #1 we explained that this guide is largely aimed at those, perhaps with little electronic knowledge, who have acquired and need help with a typical portable record player. To that end, we hope the guide proves useful.

We have tried to include the most common issues whilst at the same time keeping the various posts as simple and as understandable as possible. As has been said many times, if any problems are not covered herein, or if they are but you don't understand, then please search the forum for further information or create a new thread regarding your specific problem.

If anybody can add further information, especially images and diagrams or indeed if anyone finds any errors then please get in touch with us via the Contact Us form.

Finally, please remember that our Vintage Audio section has a number of related 'Sticky' threads concerning cartridge and styli suppliers, how to operate an autochanger and so on.
