Default AVO 2 Panel Valve Tester

Along with the Tottenham WS Wavemeter, I've also been given this 2 Panel Tester in a heavy duty wooden box. It has "ADM PATT 55046 VALVE TESTER" on a wee outside label. The wood is painted an Army green colour. I'm not needing any info on 2 Panels, just wondering what the ADM PATT 55046 stands for. It also has a Crows Foot at the bottom R/H corner of the meter dial. Possibly "Admiralty Pattern". It has all the accoutrements with it.
Just need to know before I get rid of it along with the other surplus test equipment I was given last weekend.

Regards, David

Thanks Lawrence for the confirmation. Did these boxed Naval versions differ in any way internally from the original civilian ones ? I had a civ one about 10 years ago, and this thing looks much the same.

Morning David.
The only difference is the red light at the right hand side of the meter. The Wayn Kerr tester is still going good.
We have a good frost in Rotherham this morning.

Regards
Kevin

Looks like really nice condition, with socket adaptors for later sockets. Should get good money for it wherever you dispose of it.

I have the exact same tester in the same green painted box!! who would have thought they would have made it out to NZ. Bought it years ago in a junk shop in town for $20 (about 10 quid).

And that was a bolted on bargain! Well probably par for the course depending on how long ago it was - but a bargain nowadays for sure.

Forgot to mention the box is liberally doused in oil inside and outside - I suspect linseed or similar to prevent rust from the saline conditions on board ship.
