Default Philips Finland 10 RL 570/10.

so decided to get this off the shelf to see if it works,so batteries inserted ,switch on and nothing, looking at the underside and i see philips have kindly marked the screws to undo to remove the chassis so after a few turns the chassis is free ,care needs to be taken because it fairly tight in there ,i notice that these 2 securing screws are connected to an almost over elaborate clamp arrangement,i mention this because if you were to keep unscrewing the screws the clamp/spring assemble would fall out ,any enough of that!!! on examination all seem to be intact ,i note the very unusual speaker with the magnate at the front (the speaker is huge),so batteries back in switch on again ,i have 9 volts up to the on off switch but not the other side of it ,shorting the switch out and it bursts into life, removal of the pot is fiddly but managed it ok,pot dismantled on /off contact was stuck so freed off ,pot cleaned and refitted ,lovely sounding set up with best ,strange fm tuner set up which can be preset at different stations, nice working addition to my collection

So is it one of these?

Looks like an interesting set if so.

Designed by Philips of Sweden. With a bit of luck, you'll be able to find a schematic for the 66RLxxx model that is mentioned in the rmorg page.

Probably totally different but I have a circuit diagram for the 10RL580 (which looks similar). It was a bit of paper folded up inside my set.

If you want a copy, PM me with your e-mail address
