Default Goldtone doorbell wiring advice

I planned to fit a Friedland Westminster already restored but sadly not enough space to install.
I’ve found this little Goldtone bell. Not the same but sweet.

Wondering if someone can advise on transformer voltage and wiring please?

Many thanks Kneale

I would have thought any bell transformer of 6 to 9V or a 6V battery would do, battery/transformer to the middle terminal, buttons (front and rear) to the other terminals with their common to the battery/transformer. Usually the buzzer was the rear door, bell front.

Many thanks - that makes sense. Didn’t think of the bell / buzzer combination. Brilliant idea. Not as nice as a Westminster but more interesting than a modern battery setup. I’ll have a look at it next time in workshop. I Have a nice little Friedland transformer 3-8V from memory. Appreciated.
