JRC A612 transistor
Does anybody know what this transistor is used for? I have a few of these, they came in a job lot of components that I acquired recently, it appears to be silicon according to the tester result.
JRC A612 21X is whats written on it, JRC- radio company Japan? and has a green dot on top, some of the Japanese radios I have have coloured dots on the tops of the transistors but I don’t recall seeing a green dot on any of them. Regards Poppydog |

Re: JRC A612 transistor
Hi
I think it may be a 2SA 612. As is often the case with Japanese transistors, the 2S is often omitted from the device markings. Regards, Symon EDIT: post crossed with Paul's. |
