Default Dansette Service Information.

In the Dansette record player schematics I have access to there's virtually no voltage measurements given, are they available?

Lawrence.

I've not seen many voltage readings for Dansettes either, but that's not to say they're not documented somewhere. I wonder whether Dansette produced their own service sheets?

Was there ever a Trader Sheet covering Dansettes?

I've only ever see the 'Radio Servicing' sheets which are on Paul's DVD ROM disc. For anyone who hasn't bought the disc, the download is excellent value for money given that it runs to nine pages of data and seems to cover the full Dansette range including transistor models. It's a tribute to the EL84 and to Dansette designers that they actually sound quite good, yet when looking at the circuits, they couldn't be more basic. It looks as though they designed an amplifier that worked well, then removed components one by one till it stopped working, then put the last part back!

The original operating instructions for the Dansette Conquest Auto contains the schematic and a brief circuit description plus the HT and cathode voltages, the same schematic is in R&TV Servicing labeled as the Monarch.

There are also the Dansette HiFi circuits in this post:-

This answers my own question as to whether Dansette produced their own service info. No voltage readings though.

There's a few Google images of Dansette record player instruction manuals, they all seem to say that the schematic was included in the said.
