Hi guys.

I've been given one of these and I don't know what it is. It has a ton of stuff with it, an LCD remote unit, a ROM expansion in a box, cables, and it's all in a brief case thing with lots of paper work and instructions.

Hi,
A programmable logic controller. A digital computer used for automation of processes driven by the inputs.
If you google it, would seem that several people would be interested in the instructions....

PLCs can be fun things to play around with. Have one buried under the bed here that I keep meaning to do something with. The programming language behind it really isn't hard to get your head around either. We had a class on them at college which was really interesting. Have quite a bit of documentation from the one I have rattling around somewhere which I could probably scan if that would be useful. Think there was an intro to programming in there too.

The EX20 was also sold under the Cutler-Hammer brand. Toshiba never really took off in the UK on machinery, although the local washing-up liquid factory runs its polythene shrink-wrappers off EX20's.
