Default Blaupunkt M23

I've a car radio made by Blaupunkt that you have to hold the cassette in to make it work. I've opened it up and can see that the cassette should be held in by what looks like an electromagnet? I've researched this a little bit and can see it's a common problem. Does anyone know a fix for this?

thanks
