Default BVWS Summer 2019 Bulletin

Mine arrived this morning, and from a quick flick through it looks like another good read.

Yes, another excellent issue, which I've only had chance to have a quick flip through.

Maybe it's just my subjective view, but as Alex has got into the role of editor, the layout of the text and pictures, and the clarity of the pictures seems to have got better with each issue, not that there was ever anything to complain about. Carl Glover was a hard act to follow, but Alex has certainly found his feet.

What a monumental effort the total restoration of a 1932 Zetavox by Gary Tempest was! Restoring the speaker alone was quite a task in itself, let alone documenting progress of the total strip-down and re-build, and writing it up. (31 pictures, plus the circuit, covering 13 pages).

Several other excellent articles too.

Got mine too, lovely sunny afternoon and SHMBO has gone out on her bicycle (to the pub I guess). Time for a beer, a sit in the shady bit of the garden and a read... (good play on Radio 4 too). Life can't get much better!

Ooh, another cracking publication from the BVWS corporation

Noticed the RWB booking form – hope to be there this year, but, saying that I need to get a RB tone arm to Greg at RWB for a turntable project

Regards
Terry
