Photos in PMs?
A couple of times recently I have wanted to include a photo in a PM. Apart from the URL link I can't see a way of doing so. Is it possible to upload a photo to a PM from my PC?

Re: Photos in PMs?
In a word no you cannot send pictures in PM's
I usually establish communication using PM and there after use my Email to send to the other parties email or if thay are not happy to do that upload to photobucket or Dropbox and PM them the link. Cheers Mike T

Re: Photos in PMs?
You can't include attachments of any type in PMs. It's just the way the forum software works.

Re: Photos in PMs?
In "Your Control Panel" select "Pictures and Albums"
Create an album, don't mark it private. Upload your image to the album. click on the thumbnail to see the full size image and copy the "BB" code. Paste the BB code into the PM. I have sent you each such a PM.

Re: Photos in PMs?
On some other fora, bad people were found to be using PM attachments to circulate illegal material out of sight of anyone else. Once this was discovered, forum software across the industry was quickly updated to remove this 'opportunity'.
So there is a solid reason why it's not enabled. You can use PMs to swap email addresses, or put images in the albums section. David
