Default Identify this radio.

Can anyone help identify this radio? I think it could be TRF type. It was in a vintage shop where I attended a classic car show. Was just intrigued as the shop owner didn't seem to know either.
Many thanks
Dave.

Very stylish! Reminiscent of early '30s Marconi or KB but can't find anything that matches. I'd give it houseroom.....

I thought it looked a bit like a Bush that had had the tops lopped off.

The cabinet looks reminiscent of an old Marconi radiogram.

If it's trying to send a message it looks like a big T.

Anything written on the back panel?

It has a bit of an American look to it.

I could not get to the back panel. I had to move away a load of items that were piled up in front of it so I was already in disfavour with the shop assistant. It was up against a book case. I might email them to see if there is any more info on this set.

There seems to be a tree motif in the speaker fret.

I can't read the label.
It seems to have lost a peg, it's on the floor.
I'm betting on a cabinet maker's one off with a standard chassis of the period. In which case it could have an American heritage in part.

"Shop Assistant" the clues in the name. Bit of a Fawlty Towers attitude there!
