Like it says on the tin it's a Sweep Generator.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweep_generator It generates a radio frequency signal which is swept, ie continuously varied, over a range from say 1 to 2 MHz. It's used to align the intermediate frequency stages of radios. Whether it's cool or trash I have no idea. https://item.fril.jp/682ae9ee46b61354c3a9fedf39423c33

Are those remarks your opinions; those of someone else; something you've read in a piece of authoritative literature . . or . . . ?
It's very rare for us, here, to read such remarks about a piece of electronic equipment. I don't need to know; I'm just intrigued. Al. |
