Default Tandberg TR-200

Hi. I have a very old Tandberg TR-200, as they all are now I suppose. I noticed the other day that the tuning needle no longer moves. After investigating I discovered the cord has snapped.(Not the wire one the string type cord)
I have managed to find someone who sells the cord but does anyone know how to replace it? I am the first to admit I am not the most technically minded person in the world but it looks a bit complicated to do. Any help much appreciated

Welcome to the forum.

The service manual for the Tandberg TR-200 is available here:

http://sportsbil.com/tandberg/tr-200-sm.pdf

It includes a diagram of the dial cord arrangement, which should show you what you need to know.
