Default Help in identifying military 'sighting' device

I wonder if anyone can identify this for me? It was given me by a friend who cleared the shed of a deceased army officer.
My best guess is that it is some sort of gun sight, vintage WWII, and German.
markings include Rbl.F.36 1' eso 4566

It will probably end being sold, as although I like it very much, I obviously don't have a use for it and constantly need to raise funds - so any indication of value would be appreciated.
Photos not brilliant - can take more in daylight if requested.

Trivial googling shows it to likely be a "Rundblickfernrohr Rbl.F. 36" anti-tank/long-range-artillery gunsight.

According to the second of these links it's probably worth up to 250Eur.

Excellent, G6! I would never have thought it would come up with that abbreviated code.
Thanks for taking the trouble.
