After being given this set at the recent workshop at Sambrook by Rob Rushbridge (ex Wireless Works fame) in less than glamerous state.... (broken dial, smashed poorly reassembled case, and chocolate brown paint....), I reasoned that it may yield a few useful spares.....
However, after having a closer look I snipped the mod hum condensor out, applied power, and hey presto a working set..... Just goes to prove no matter how awful a set looks it may still be worth repairing..... Now, to do a "proper restoration"........ Cheers Sean If people really want to see how horrific it is I may well post a couple of piccys!
