Default Which radar set?

Hi all, another useless chassis on the junk pile to ID. It is stamped 'Modulator Type 189 - 10DB/8054', a two valve affair with Pulse in, RF in and RF out sockets. 10DB is the prefix for radar specific equipment. I wondered if anyone could help name the (presumably airbourne) radar set it belonged to? There can't be that many wartime contenders can there?

My thanks and kindest regards,
Robert B.

My thanks! I take it that this isn't a common piece of kit then?

Kind regards,

Robs

The problem is that is isn't much use as a working thing, and most people would not know what it was anyway. I guess there was once a pile of them being sold off up Lysle Street. I think it comes into the large class of "very rare but worthless".

I have to admit that when I was a child I bought one or two pieces of priceless historic equipment to cut up for parts. I actually know what they were now and in one case I wish I had the original item!
