Television day at the BWTVM today (Saturday)
Does anyone have any details of the event tomorrow as I was thinking about attending on the train rather than getting the stress of going into London by car!!
Going from Rugby to West Dulwich station. The last time I visited the museum was around 20 years (literally !!) ago as a birthday treat!! What time does it open. Many thanks, Christopher Capener

Re: Television day at the BWTVM tomorrow
There is a flyer for it within the latest edition of the BVWS Magazine.
Hopefully someone will dig it out and let you know the details as I'm 40 miles from my copy at the moment. Regards, SR |

Re: Television day at the BWTVM tomorrow
Just dug the flyer out so I could log-in and send you more info and noticed there is no time on it. Then logged-in and can now see that's what you needed to know in the first place
Enjoy your day! I'm hoping someone will put a few snaps up for us to see, I can't make it this weekend. SR |

Re: Television day at the BWTVM tomorrow
From the BVWTM website
"Stall holder entry 10am, general visitor entry to the event 11am." There is a new website being developed and hopefully version 1.001 will be live in October. I can't make tomorrow but went down there a week ago. There has been a lot of work put in developing the site layout and the display in the new building looks fantastic. Well worth a visit Dave |

Re: Television day at the BWTVM today (Saturday)
Another really enjoyable event at the Dulwich museum. For all vintage TV is not really my 'thing' I had a great time, I got to see a metal-cone CRT, a back projection set and some System E (819 line) sets all of which I was curious about.
Many thanks to the people who organised it. |

Thanks Tony. It was a great fun day and how did we manage to eat 14 trays of sandwiches! John.

Re: Television day at the BWTVM today (Saturday)
I found the event extremely interesting and it was a shame to leave. A very well thought out and run event. It is a credit to all those who made it happen and good to chat with lots of like-minded people. The lunch was excellent too. It was warm in the telly room with all of those sets running!!
I think I will have to try and go to the next event. The train journey from Rugby was not too bad and everything was on time. Christopher Capener
