Default Biography of Sir Jules Thorn

This book was published recently and is an interesting read. He started off with making incandescent light bulbs but went on to build up a big British conglomerate that also included Ferguson and Avo, amongst many other famous British brand names.

Default Re: Biography of Sir Jules Thorn

Interesting. I worked for Thorn Automation for twenty years, part of the Thorn Group. As such we had a Staff shop that sold all the Thorn brands at reduced prices, Goodmans, Ultra, HMV, Ferguson etc.
