Philips 834a alignment procedure .
Does anyone know how to do this on the 834a please .

Unfortunately, the scan on the disk issued to BVWS members is the same. Unless a forum member has a paper copy, that seems to be all there is.

If it helps....In effect:
Signal generator connected between A1 or A2 and earth, receiver switched to MW, tune receiver to 225 Metres, generator set to 1,330kHz, gain control to max, adjust sig gen output for min usable while adjusting C19 & C21 for maximum output. Switch to LW, tune receiver to 900 Metres, set generator to 333.3kHz and adjust C20 for maximum output. Check calibration on both wavebands. Lawrence. |
