Forum closing briefly for update
I will be closing the forum at 4:40pm GMT today for a software update. This should take no more than 10 minutes.

Re: Forum closing briefly for update
Completed. Please let me know if there are any problems.
As discussed here SSL is now available using a free SSL certificate provided by the hosting system. I have now set the default URL to https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/ however https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/ will still work as normal. |

As good as ever on the other side of the world, President Duterte's porn ban hasn't blocked it, not like another forum!

Re: Forum closing briefly for update
Working well for me (UK, BT ASDL via OpenReach).
Has this update made pictures appear "inset" into posts? Looking very nice this way anyway. Graham

Re: Forum closing briefly for update
Yep the light box plug-in is working nicely again with IE11 and I am no longer getting dodgy errors with script/code boxes at the bottom of every other page also the "top" button at the bottom of each thread/page is working or at least not missing

Re: Forum closing briefly for update
Typical, just after I posted my previous reply the light box plug in stopped working giving a dark blank screen, however closing and re-opening IE and returning to the forum restored it, still it is for the most part working a lot better than it has been most of the time just browsing the forum
I don't know if it was posting a reply that stopped it working, so will try again after this post. will add further info in a moment. Edit: it worked ok this time, if this is the only niggle I for one can live with it, the update seems to have fixed quite a few other things in IE11 mentioned in my previous post so thanks anyway.
